Touch that helps you exhale.
Helen Wellness is a bodywork practice built around one idea: your body already knows how to relax, it just needs the right hands to help it get there. Sessions are personalized, unhurried, and designed around what you're carrying that week.

A quick look at Helen Wellness
This site is built around six sections, reachable any time from the menu in the top corner. Here's what's in each one.
About Helen

Helen has spent her career learning how the body holds stress: in the shoulders after a long week, in the lower back after too many hours sitting, in the hips after carrying a pregnancy. She started out training in Swedish and deep tissue technique, and over the years kept adding to that foundation: prenatal work, hot stone therapy, reflexology, sports recovery. What ties it together is the same habit every time: watch how a client is actually holding tension, not just where they say it hurts.
Every session starts with a short conversation before any table work begins. What's been sore, what's felt off, what a good outcome looks like today. That's what shapes the hour, not a fixed routine repeated on every client. Some sessions are almost entirely slow and calming; others get firm and targeted on one specific area. Helen adjusts pressure in real time based on how your body responds, and checks in throughout rather than guessing.
The space itself is kept quiet and unhurried on purpose. Warm lighting, low music, nothing that rushes you back out the door the second the session ends. Longer sessions are built for exactly that: time to actually settle, rather than spend the first twenty minutes just getting your nervous system to stand down.
Clients tend to fall into a few groups: people managing chronic tension from desk work or physical jobs, athletes and active people needing recovery between training blocks, pregnant clients looking for safe relief as their body changes, and people who simply want a few uninterrupted hours to reset. Whichever one you are, the first conversation is the same. What do you need today.
- Licensed massage therapist
- Trained in Swedish, deep tissue & prenatal massage
- Certified in hot stone therapy & reflexology
- Continuing education in sports recovery bodywork
- Years of hands-on client experience across all of the above
Services

Sessions are booked by length rather than a fixed menu. Pick the amount of time that fits your day, and the work inside that time is shaped around what you need: relaxation, targeted relief, recovery, or a full reset. Any of the modalities below can be blended into any session length.
Session lengths & pricing
1 hour
A focused session for one or two specific areas, good for a quick reset between a busy week, or for trying bodywork for the first time.
2 hours
Enough time to work the full body properly, easing general tension while still spending extra time on anything that's bothering you most.
3 hours
A longer, unhurried session that combines relaxation work with deeper, more targeted therapy, well suited to chronic tension or recovery after heavy training.
4 hours
An extended session for clients who want real, lasting change in how their body feels. Multiple modalities combined, with time built in to properly rest between segments.
Full session retreat
The complete Helen Wellness experience: a slow-paced, multi-hour retreat combining several modalities with real breaks to rest, breathe, and reset. Best booked when you have nowhere else to be afterward.
Modalities
These are the techniques Helen draws from within any session above. Let her know your preference when you book, or leave it to her judgment.
Swedish relaxation massage
Long, flowing strokes to ease general tension and calm the nervous system. A good starting point if you're new to bodywork.
Deep tissue therapy
Firmer, targeted pressure for chronic tightness in the shoulders, low back, and areas that hold stress from repetitive movement.
Prenatal massage
Positioned and paced for comfort during pregnancy, easing the strain that shifts onto the back, hips, and legs.
Hot stone therapy
Warmed stones combined with massage to release deep muscle tension without heavy pressure.
Reflexology
Focused pressure-point work on the feet, used to support relaxation throughout the whole body.
Sports recovery massage
For active clients, helping muscles recover between training blocks and easing post-exercise soreness.

Reviews

I was nervous about sending a deposit at first, but the booking process was clear and the appointment went exactly as arranged. Communication was consistent from confirmation through the session.
Thank you for trusting the process. I always try to keep booking details clear from the start so there are no surprises.
Helen, I'm trying to reach you after my last appointment. I changed phones and lost your number, so please send your current contact details when you see this. I would like to book again.
Thanks for reaching out. Please use the contact page here so I can confirm the correct number with you privately.
The session itself was good. One suggestion: maybe consider whether you can accommodate two clients around the same time in the future. My friend was disappointed when there wasn't availability for both of us, though I understand you keep appointments one-on-one.
I appreciate the suggestion. I currently keep sessions private and one client at a time so each appointment gets my full attention, but I'm always reviewing how scheduling can work better.
Everything felt organized from the first message. The deposit confirmation came through, the time was held, and the session started as scheduled. Very smooth experience.
Really relaxing appointment and good communication. I had to wait a little longer than expected for a reply to my first message, but once we connected everything was straightforward.
Thank you for the feedback. I'm working on faster response times while keeping sessions uninterrupted.
Comfortable setting and a good session overall. I would have preferred a little more time discussing pressure preferences beforehand, but Helen adjusted quickly once I mentioned it.
